Uniform Policy

The Franklin-McKinley School District believes a safe and disciplined learning environment is the first requirement of a high performing school. School uniforms will help minimize disruptive behavior, promote respect for oneself and others, build school/community spirit, and, more significantly, help to maintain high academic standards. Please see below for Ramblewood School uniform options.

Navy Bottoms
Size appropriate/fitted
Hemmed properly (no pins, staples)
Shorts hemmed not more than 5 inches above knees
Belt should not be worn below waist
Leggings should only be worn under a skirt, short or other coverings. Sweaters or long sleeve shirts are not proper covering.
White, Blue, or Light Blue Tops
Dress or casual with collar
Short or long sleeves
Turtleneck is acceptable
Must be worn under sweatshirt, jacket or sweater
Not acceptable:
Oversized or baggy or tight clothes
Shredded or rolled up cuffs
Cuffs dragging on ground
Windbreaker work out pants or suits
No corduroys
Tee Shirts
Sport logos on shirts, sweatshirts or pants
Make up
Gang related clothing or articles
Hats indoors
Spandex pants, skirts, shorts or tops; to include leggings
Uniforms may be purchased at:  JC Pennys, Target, Old Navy, Sears and/or Walmart
